Prisoner of the Mountains (Kavkazskiy plennik) (1996) Based upon a short story by Leo Tolstoy, two Russian soldiers, Sacha and Vania, are ambushed by Muslim rebels in the grandly forbidding Caucasus and taken prisoner.
